Dan Frey

Dr.
Dan Frey is Lord Foundation Asst. Prof off Aeronautics and Astronautics
at MIT. He was a former Hughes Doctoral Fellow.
Previously he was the asst. Director of the System Design and
Management Program in large-scale engineering systems and product development.
His research areas include: mechanical design and manufacturing
including applied probability, rehabilitation engineering, variation
analysis of manufacturing systems, reliability engineering, precision
machine design, and electronics manufacturing. He teaches Unified Engineering,
Robust Systems Design. His former occupations include Jet pilot for
the US Navy and Counter narcotics intelligence in Panama. He earned
his Masters Degree from University of Colorado and PhD from MIT.
