with a world-class off-shore 3D Production Company 3dMaxMedia
has entered into a Strategic production Relationship agreement
with Pentafour Multimedia – one of the top
ten 3D animation
facilities in the world (according to the famous Roncarelli Report)
with a staff of around
500 animators and 50,000 sq. ft of Production
Facilities. Pentafour is the third largest publicly held software
company in India with offices in Los Angeles equipped with 8000 sqft
production studio, London, Singapore and Japan.
They have recently completed Sinbad: Beyond the Veil of Mists,
a full-feature 3D animation film which has received rave reviews in
Hollywood. They have also worked with Disney studios (101 Dalmatians)
, Warner Bros (King & I) etc.
Their production facilities include hundreds of Silicon Graphics
workstations, HP workstations, Mac’s and Pentium boxes with creative
professionals skilled in Softimage, Maya, 3D studio max, Kodak’s Cineon,
Avid’s Media Illusion, Media Composer, Matador, Discreet Logic’s Flint/
Flame for special effects and compositing with a film scan and print
facility in collaboration with Eastman Kodak. The
MOU with Pentafour covers a wide range of activities including, content
creation on work-for-hire basis, co-production of 3D animated record
album & animated feature films, production of karoke & documentaries for the Japanese market,
joint production of animation for 3dMaxMedia’s global music launches,
joint development and research on 3D animation tools, and joint marketing.
3dMaxMedia is preparing to execute a pilot 3D animated virtual
artist record album project with Pentafour. The
partnership with Pentafour will give 3dMaxMedia instant access to a
mature and cost-effective offshore production facility and we believe
that 3dMaxMedia will be able to execute 3D animation production projects
at 60% of the production cost in the US while maintaining the same level
