3dMaxMedia
plans to capitalize on several concurrent 3D/multimedia technologies
that have been in development for the past several years (i.e. DirectX,
OpenGL, VRML, WildTangent, Genesis3D, OpenWorlds, RealAudio, RealVideo,
Flash, etc.) and use the lessons learned to help us in redesigning a
truly next generation real-time 3D Multimedia Graphics and Audio engine,
which would be a combination of some of the best features of these earlier
foundational technologies.
This
will yield something that these earlier technologies lacked, a full
integrated, balanced feature set for effectively delivering 3dMaxMedia
entertainment and eCommerce content.
3dMaxMedia
will implement the above feature set in phases and delivered concurrent
to the developments in the Internet bandwidth technologies.
It may be noted that 3dMaxMedia will continue to evaluate multiple
technology platforms and software choices that may be available from
time to time. We want to
be able to flexibly leverage off emerging technologies that are still
in development and integrate these into our own proprietary software
design strategies and solutions.

3dMax-Realmotion
is a Real-time Motion Creation
Technology, which allows animators to automate significant portions
of modeling, animating and lighting. Once developed successfully, 3dMaxMedia
believes it will give us a competitive advantage of animation production
with productivity gains of at least 30-40% to start with. 3dMaxMedia’s
objective is to make 3dMax-Realmotion as the primary software tool for
every animator and technical director at 3dMaxMedia. In contrast to
many commercially available animation systems which are designed to
address product design, corporate logo graphics or cinematic special
effects, 3dMax-Realmotion has been conceived to address large scale
internet-based continuous production environment with distributed processing
capabilities. It will be designed and optimized for large-scale character
modeling with high levels of reusability, and parameter driven animation.
